Released on September 6th, the Aion Online open beta test for both North America and Europe has managed to gather the masses who were in for some fun. New areas added in the beta including Theobomos (Elysea) and Brusthonin (Asmodae). Before you try the Elyos or the Asmodians, please read this Aion guide first.
Elysea The radiant light that surrounds Elysea has caused the Elyos to become more vibrant and beautiful, becoming almost angelic in their appearances. For this reason, the Elyos consider themselves the chosen of Aion, and believe that their mission to make peace with the Balaur was a divine one that they were right in making. For this reason, the Elyos have become slightly arrogant in their view of the world. However, despite this arrogance, they still have compassion for others, although the show no mercy towards the Asmodians.
Asmodians While Elysea is receives radiant light from nearby stars and the Tower of Light, Asmodae isn't nearly so lucky. The land is dark and harsh, and over time the biology of the Asmodians has come to reflect this. With glowing red eyes, darkened wings, and pale skin, the Asmodians are a very symbol of the hardships they have had to endeared. However, these trials have only made them stronger, and the Asmodians are just as eager for battle as they were when their ruling Shedmin Lords demanded to continue the fight against the Balaur centuries ago.
Aion Patch 1.5 The 1.5 version is the final before launch and is meant to provide you with a flawless Aion experience. However, there’s one thing that will affect everyone — balancing races as folks rush to log into the servers. That means that you may get a “This race cannot be created” message when the server becomes unbalanced so all you need to do is to try another server or wait until the server balance has tipped back.
